HACCP for  Management (CODEX Principles)

 

The Highfield Level 4 Award in HACCP for Management (CODEX Principles)  is aimed at learners who are working at management level within food manufacturing and catering environments, quality assurance staff or members of the HACCP team. This qualification would also be useful for trainers, auditors, enforcers and other 

food safety professionals.

 

The objective of the qualification is to provide learners with the knowledge needed to develop, implement and

evaluate CODEX-based HACCP food safety procedures.

Entry Requirements

  • There are no prerequisites for this qualification, although it is recommended that learners already hold a Level 4 Award in Food Safety or Level 3 HACCP for Manufacturing or equivalent.

  • This qualification is approved for delivery to learners aged 16+.

 

Course Duration  : 30 Hours (4 days)

Guidance on Assessment

  • Assessment Method : Written Exam

  • Exam Mode : Online

  • No. of  Sections : 2 Sections (Section A and B)

         - Section A consists of 10 short answer written questions.

         - Section B consists of two questions based on a case study.

  • Pass mark   : Overall Score 60 -69%  

  • Merit            : Overall Score 70-79 %

  • Distinction : Overall Score 80-100% 

  • Duration     : 2.5 Hours

E-assessment

The exam is conducted via Highfield E-assessment and is remotely invigilated online at your home or your workplace.​

The exam is carried out at a set time and dates convenient to you after you have completed the training, please allow up to 5 working days for Highfield to set up the exam for you, we can arrange the exam date prior to your completion of the training if you have a specific date/time in mind

 

 

Certification

You will find out if you have passed or failed immediately and will receive an e-certificate shortly after completion which has the same accreditation as a hard copy certificate.
