Supervisors/managers and future supervisors and managers.

 

The training of food handlers is a legal requirement, and the key to profitability and high standards of food safety is to train supervisors and managers and ensure their competency.

Entry Requirements

  • There are no prerequisites for this qualification. 

  • This qualification is approved for delivery to learners aged 16+.

 

Course Duration  : 20 Hours (3 days)

  • Pass mark : 30/45 (66%)

  • Distinction : 36/45 (80%)

Course Content

  • Importance of implementing food safety management procedures

  • Importance of, verifying food safety controls and procedures

  • Maintaining high standards of personal hygiene

  • Requirements for induction and ongoing training of staff

  • Actions that need to be taken with regards to pest control

  • Importance of, and methods for temperature control within a food manufacturing process

E-assessment

The exam is conducted via Highfield E-assessment and is remotely invigilated online at your home or your workplace.​

The exam is carried out at a set time and dates convenient to you after you have completed the training, please allow up to 5 working days for Highfield to set up the exam for you, we can arrange the exam date prior to your completion of the training if you have a specific date/time in mind

 

 

Certification

You will find out if you have passed or failed immediately and will receive an e-certificate shortly after completion which has the same accreditation as a hard copy certificate.
